Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum but wondered if anyone could give me some advice.

I have 2 whippets, both male, one is 4 years old, and one rising 3. They are much loved pets but a few months ago my marriage broke down and my partner is not in a position to take the boys with him (they were predominantly his dogs). So I have been left with them.

Although I love them both dearly, I just quite simply do not have the time for them, and it is making things very difficult for me.

I would really love to find them a new loving home, but I do not want to just dump them on anyone, because if I could not find the right home, then I would just keep them. But I would love to be able to move abroad, but until I find them a new home, I cannot even consider this idea.

However, they really do deserve more attention than they are getting and I'm sure that somebody out there would love to have such loving companions.

So my question is.... where do I look for potential homes? In an ideal world, they would go together, but I know that they would be fine if seperated, and in many ways I think that would be a good thing. They are both healthy and well behaved, they live with a cat, but my cat is very 'whippet-wise' so am unsure what they would be like with other cats. They get on OK with other dogs too, but to be honest, they have lived on a farm all their life so they don't see many strange dogs. They are certainly not aggressive or nervous dogs.

Any advice would be greatfully recieved.

Many thanks
