Just a thought but i wonder if Nigel could add a thread for rehoming dogs...

We get lots of people on here who are looking for dogs, either puppies or older dogs and it would be good if we could direct them to one place

Does that sound a good idea or am i barking up the wrong tree?? :D

woof woof!!..lol  i agree myself....i think good judgement can be made by intelligent people as to how good the person selling the dog is!

Sounds like a good idea to me

I first came accross K9 when i was looking for a whippie - and it felt a bit odd kinda barging in as a newbie with a ' who's got a whippet for me' thread. Luckily for me, you're all a load of friendly folk so i didn't get snarled at. But it would have felt much more polite had there been somewhere specifically to 'ask around'

I agree...I think a thread for rehoming would be good. Cause it means that new users could go there to see about rehoming a dog.

Great idea Kim  and then we get to see piccies of the rehomed pups / dogs as well!! :- "

Glad for the replies...

It was for people who specifically had dogs to rehome, not people selling letters or anything..

Unless Nigel wanted to charge a donation ??

Sounds like a great idea

I think its a great idea. I've just put out an appeal for a new home for a whippet pup & got a really good response & a possible home for the dog  , at least we can be fairly sure that the right person will be out there in K9 World.

Great Idea especially on the rehoming side of things, meeting lots of people today so happy with their rescue dogs was great to see.

THUMBS UP FOR THIS KIM

I will forward to Nigel then to see what his thoughts are
