we took our whippets to heaton park on tuesday got the standard questions what are they ?(dogs)do they bite? (only if you bite them first)can i stroke them (yes but sod off asap)are they running dogs?(no they are walking at the moment)do you race them? (no cause they always beat me )i thaught they were bigger? (no they are greyhounds i washed them and they shrunk)ARE THEY REINDEERyes you read it right .

we managed to get most of the way round the park we were about 50 yards from the van when a group of people came towards us we got the question what are they? wendy and i said they are whippets this one woman in her 20's said "whoppets "we said "no whippets " this women then shouts "no they are reindeer ar'nt they "wendy did think she was joking and said "no they are dogs" but this women was certain that they were reindeer she was convinced that our dogs were reindeer we spent about 10 mins trying to tell her that they were dogs and not reindeer in the end we just walked of (laughing )

all i can think is that she must think santa is about 4 inches tall so he can fit down the chimney  :D :- "

i have put up some pics i think you will find that the woman was right you can see the reindeer in our dogs 1_reindeer.jpgi think this is our ruby :teehee:
