Hi,

I was wondering if anyone can help.... I volunteer for an animal sanctuary in Bristol and people are always asking me about the place and what dogs we have available.

I have a friend who has moved to Reading and they have recently lost their greyholund (of old age) and hew wanted to get another but would like to provide a good home to a rescue greyhound..

Being new to the area, they werent sure where to go so can anyone recommend a rehoming place in the Reading Area or a national one he could contact?

Have they looked on Lurcher Link or Greyhound Gap? They often have Greys for re-homing :luck:

The Oldies Club have the lovely Brindle, who is only 7 yrs old so not really an 'oldie'. He's been in his foster home for ages without a single enquiry and I can't understand why. He is well behaved, quiet, loves cuddles, walks like a dream - and is absolutely drop-dead gorgeous.

Brindle could be homed anywhere in the UK subject to a satisfactory home visit. More details here:

I will never understand why a dog like that stays for so long in a foster home - we get it sometimes and there is no explanation.
