Timmy (Spooky - Maddison X Blue Monday) suffered a debilitating stroke today and we had to have him put to sleep.

Like his mum, Timmy lived to a grand old age (would of been 14 in May) He was mildly impaired with deafness and poor vision but he had a good quality of life skipping around the garden and fondly being called the ''little ghost dog'' due to him being all white and dashing about the garden in the evenings while we we're cooking tea.

Tony's naturally upset and I'm sure Michelle will be too as he was a big part of their lives and was quite a character. :huggles:

Ironically I posted a photo of the old man the other day and was overwhelmed by the lovely comments people made of our oldies. I would hope your kind words give some comfort to Tony in knowing he kept Timmy in wonderful condition and a happy little chap despite his problems and that he was astute enough to know when it was time to say goodbye. Sweet dreams Timmy :huggles:

I had to say goodbye to my 42 year old shetland pony a week ago - even though her time had come, it still cuts like a knife when you have to make that decision :'(
