Results Of Easter Charity Open 8/4/2012

I was in a rush to get the results on last night so didnt get a chance to make any comments, but would like to say what a fantastic day we had yesterday.

Congratulations to Lesley & Mark & everyone involved in running the open and thank you for a brilliant day  Was lovely to catch up with friends that we have not seen since before the winter, great banter, good company and some great close finishes.

We were very pleased with our boy running in his first open and making the final, congrats to his sisters Echo (Savernake Sporting Gun) and Holly (Millworth's Back) for both making their finals too. Brothers Drifter (Darkling Drifter), Tommy (Like the Wind) and sister Kyte (Savernake Sporting Times) also all won their heats and other brother Jack (Just Maybe) won his consolation final. So all in all a great family day :D

Commiserations to Angie & Mick for Savernake Bird of Preys nail injury - hope she is soon on the mend :luck:

Many thanks to all involved in running the day. It was slick, organised and great fun. I agree with Darcia, it was fun to see old friends again, as well as new faces. Congrats to the Sav Shogun / Fly the Wind litter who had such a terrific day. What a family to watch in 2012.

p.s. the cake I won in the raffle has been fantastic! The family loved it for Easter tea (not much left). Thanks to Gilly for her talented baking.
