Chase is now 5 months old and one testicle is still retained .At what age should they be fully descended? We are now totally confused about castration !

It is unlikely that it will come down at this age, although not completely impossible.

Can you feel it? Has it been up and down?

At 5 months old there is absolutely loads of time to consider whether or not to castrate. You don't need to make any hasty decisions. Do your research and make the decision you feel right

Sorry if my earlier post has added to your confusion! If it helps at all, I haven't actually found any evidence to say it changes any of their 'good' behaviour/character, which I feared, as long as they are not castrated too early. You do have plenty of time on your side, so my advice is don't rush into anything. :)
