Well did anyone else hear the comment on Coronation Street tonight?

Describing the North/ pub/Customers as all 'pigeons, whippets, retards and no hopers!!!' :blink:

got an e-mail today saying that the offending character-'Frankie' was known to have bigoted ideas/views so the viewers expected and disregarded her comments as such-

but they apologised for any distress caused! :clown:
