I am sure that he will have a good a home in retirement as he did whilst racing, always a pleasure to watch Blue Boy race and what a fantastic litter bred by N Gilbert,I remember well when at the champs the pressure was on for blue boy to get his R/ch after the others in the Litter had done so, he didnt let you down nor did you let him down,Well done Tony, always a pleasure to have a laugh and a joke with you (sweety) :* and good :luck:

Must be hard Tony to give him his final race, but what a racer he was, not many could finish like him, I used to hate seing Tigger get three in front then lose on the line to Blue. Great dog and gentleman owner what we all want in whippet racing, but looking at recent posts it looks like the poison is flowing again, will they ever learn, or are they determined to spoil racing for everyone. I am now out of the sport after a brief return with Southern Scott, it seems strange I have to thank Tony and Yvonne for letting me have Tigger when others kept the door shut, yet it is behaviour like theirs that has made me realise i can spend my free time doing things with people that are out to enjoy their given sport not HELLbent on destroying it, might see me with my camera at some opens in the future, good luck in the future to all racers, and I truly hope you get the sport back on frendly terms.

Yours in happy retirement along with Tigger and Blue Boy

Wishing you a Happy retirement Blue Boy

Peter, maybe it's because I'm fairly new to the sport (2nd year attending events now) but I've found very little bitching goes on trackside and it's more on here where people can use aliases etc.

I do hope you'll continue going to races.

Jac

I was gutted to hear you'd called it a day when Jade told me earlier this year, it's a bloody crying shame good people like you are packing in. Please have a few days out at events next year. It's a shame for your camera to go to waste

Best of luck for the future.

I'm sure Tig will be please he can thieve as many cream cakes as he wants now!
