As a lot of you already know,after a tragic accident today we had to make the heartbreaking decision to have louie(no deal) put to sleep.He leaves us with a massive gap in all our lives we couldnt have wished for a better dog we will miss him so much but you will always be with us son everywhere we all go.Sleep tight son love you so much,run free xxxxxxxx

What a heartbreaking day. Having watched Louie run so well in his first race it was devastating to see the result of the tragic accident in his second race. We will all miss Louie as he had an impact on everybodys life who came into contact with him. He was doing what he loved best and did not suffer due to your quick actions.

We are both devastated that you have had to go through such a horrific time today. Louie has always been lovely to watch, so graceful & always trying 100% for you, we've spoke about it before but i'll never forget his first races at Westhoughton running brilliant all day & showing everyone that he was loving every minute. You know i had a huge soft spot for him, for his lovely nature & handsome looks and took endless photo's of him at every opportunity.

It's so sad, that even after breaking a leg he ran on and completed the course showing pure guts right to the end.

I have great respect for you for being able to pick him up at the end (i would have gone to pieces) and being brave when he needed you the most.

Certainly puts everything into perspective when we're all going out to race our dogs, in the blink of an eye things can go so badly wrong & you have to thank your lucky stars for every race when your dog comes off sound.

I'm so sorry Louie has gone, he was a brilliant dog with such a happy disposition. I can't begin to perceive how your feeling but I hope with time your sadness will be replaced with fond memories of the special bond you and your dog had. I was astounded how Louie battled on to the end, such bravery from him and his family in their last moments together.
