Just a few pics of Ros and Gro's first holiday. We stayed in a windmill in Anglesey and they were stars the whole time - settled really well, not a peep out of them on car journeys, didn't chew the furnishings! The sea air did them good - no fighting as they were too zonked each evening.

Swimming lessons (water is reflecting colour of sand n seaweed - looks like I threw them in a dirty canal!)

So pleased to find a fully enclosed whippet proof massive garden encircling the mill! Whippet heaven.

What great photos and a lovely day. It brings back memories as I used to take the children to Anglesey but haven't been for quite a while, Maybe I'll do a trip with the canine girls but you have to pick your day don't you - no where to shelter from the driving wind and rain if it is that way inclined!

The boys are a picture of health and it look as though you had the perfect holiday

Great pictures. I have always wanted to go to Anglesey. All your boys look like they had a great time. Perhaps you could pm me the details of the place you stayed if it welcomes k9's and is for let.

Thanks

Eve

Lucky Roscoe and Grover going to such a great place on holiday ;)

wow, how I wish I was a whippet! it looks so relaxing, seems you had a great holiday! :)

Can you tell me where you stayed or pm me. My son would love to stay in a windmill.

It is a mill called Melin Y Bont in a village called Bryn Du on Anglesey. The beaches on this side of the island are all dog friendly all summer (the ones on the other side have areas where dogs are banned). We booked through cottages4you.co.uk - property ref: 24668. It's a five minute drive from four different beaches. Your son may be slightly disappointed in that it doesn't have its sails anymore but it's still a fab place with its winding staircases and fabulous views. It was a rare wind and water mill combined and you can still see the old workings from the water wheel in the basement.
