I can confirm that there will be a drag coursing meeting in Roscrea Co.Tipperary on Sunday 28th September over 275 yards straight.

Come on you Northern folk please come on down and compete and support this event.

There will be a stake for small dogs like Paris and Roberts whippet, as well as the bigger dogs. I have been to two of these meetings this year and the sport is top class ! Good trophies AND prize money !

There will a consolation competition in both stakes, so every dog will get at least two runs.

All entries will have to be in by next Wednesday, so please contact me if your interested.

I would like to think at the end of the season you would come down and support it.

I will find out if there is camping available.

Just spoke to Shane Lee a few minutes ago,and the card is full.All 32 spots have been taken,as there was a mad rush yesterday,to have dog's regestered,as the draw takes place this evening.Just to let the folk with the little uns know.Shane doesn't think there will be a competition for the small whippet types now either,as it takes a lot of organizing,and he just hasn't got the time.Hopefully this might change,if he can get hold of Martin.Trouble will be going,as ive had it comfirmed that she's in.He's had to turn away quite a few dog's too.Looking forward to this one,and hope to travel down the night before. ...Billy...
