shane im wondering what the idea behind the 23-24 class is as theres absolutely no performance differance in an inch of hieght,

shane im wondering what the idea behind the 23-24 class is as theres absolutely no performance differance in an inch of hieght,
would u run a 22 or 22 half again a 24inch and plus dogs over 23 seem to be alot stronger in my eyes...we like to keep everyone happy

sorry mate still dont see the point as if my dog was 22and a half it would be an under 23 and not raced against anything over 23,the point im making is an inch in hieght makes no differance at all, weight can be a factor in some cases but not an inch in hieght. i have nothing to race at the moment so its not for my benifit i am making the point.good luck with your day.maybe some members of your club will venture up north with their dogs this year as we have a few pretty fast ones up here for a race.

believe me i have raced as much as most and if a dog is beat its not because he was an inch smaller than the dog that beat it.in any other dog racing in the world dogs are graded on weight not height, ive never had a greyhound measured for height in my life for a race

who said we were racing greyhounds...are u in a club tat races..an on the think about the rest of the world we like to be different and tat is reason between 23inch and 24 as there does be a big big difference maybe not first run see josh we dont race 1oo yards like ye do we ave 5 runs and somethimes 6 in a day over 280yards now if u dont see the point in tat i dont know wat to say..and can i just ask u lad why every time i put up somethink about r racing u always come on and start this type of messing why wont u come down and see how a days racing is ran

think your confusing me with someone else mate as im the one who gave you names for insurance companies when you first started and have only ever wished you luck with your days, the point i was making is that an inch in height does not make the difference its the weight.im not critising your day and you will not find a single post from me on any site about any show where i have.anyone who knows me will tell you that 100 yard runs dont interest me.i only asked as i couldnt understand the idea.if you want to have it thats great its your event i just dont see the point but thats my opinion.good luck for your day and i hope you get a turn out.

hahah. we'll c bout that then. WONT WEE. Fastest dogs up in the north. didnt even get ta race in Donemana. All the dogs there had ta run 5 times,to find a winner. guess it was stamina that won then, and not pure do or die speed, lol. maybe if the lure hadnt5 broke dwn 4 r 5 times. it myt hav been a different result. in saying that. wen Billy Harpur was doing the lure. ur mitch was unbeatable in the simulated courcing. but i think u must agree that his wee blue bitch. who is 22 inches exactly. won her both races by at least 12 lengths.
