ROSIE
Rosie is a 3,5 year old ex-racing greyhound girl who is now looking for a house with a sofa! She is an elegant fawn girl with a super soft coat and is in good health.
~ Personality ~
Rosie is a beautifully sweet girl with a very loving, friendly personality. She really adores people and will gladly soak up all the fuss you can offer her. She is also very gentle and is not overly pushy about asking for more fuss. Perhaps the one single thing Rosie loves more than cuddles is treats, and if you can give her both you are guaranteed to have a friend for life!
~ Other Animals ~
Rosie is well behaved with other dogs around her size, and has so far been good as gold. She is used to living with other greyhounds and is comfortable sharing her space with them. She has been walked with small dogs including a Shih Tzu and behaved very well, but this would need to be tested more thoroughly if she is to go to a home with a smaller dog. She has not yet been tested with cats.
~ In the Home ~
Rosie is currently in a foster home where she spends her nights in an outdoor kennel. She is used to coming in and out of the house with her previous owner and has settled easily into this routine. Housetraining should not be a big issue as she is a clean girl in her kennel and she doesn’t show any signs of being destructive. She has the potential to suit a range of home types, and would enjoy the company of another dog of a similar demeanour. In short, this girl is just a babe and is sure to slot in to your home as if she was always there!
~ Out and About ~
Rosie walks like a dream on the lead and will trot along happily beside you. She really enjoys her daily walks, and also loves travelling in the car… as long as she can ride in the passenger seat! Like most greyhounds, Rosie will not need a huge amount of exercise. She will be content with two 30min walks a day and perhaps a chance to stretch her legs offlead in a secure area a couple times a week. Once she gets this she is more than content to chill out and snooze the day away.

Rosie is currently being fostered with Pauline’s Rescue in Co. Cork, Ireland, but can be transported to the UK if a suitable home comes up.
Rosie will be neutered, microchipped & vaccinated before going to her new home, and a homecheck will be required as part of the adoption procedure.

Pauline’s rescue is a small rescue based in Co. Cork, Ireland that takes in abandoned and neglected dogs. Here they are given the second chance at life which they all deserve.
Each dog is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and given a full veterinary check before being adopted.
