My nephew has kept and bred Rottwielder's,for years now,and was in the kennel, playing around with his stud dog, just after feeding him.He had just put the dogs lead, and was about to take him for a walk, when the dog just keeled over, and was as dead as a maggot, imediately. He has had all his bitches spayed,as he had no intentions of breeding any more pups, since the bad name came upon the Rotties, and just let the dog mate a few of other folks bitches. This boy was his first ever Rotty, and was an inport,so that he had a true dog,and not the watered down, small types that are in abundance now.He is in a bad way,as his dogs were number 1 in his life.Just goes to show though, that we should love them while we have them.Cause in a blink, they're gone, just like ourselves.

What a terrible shock for everyone. I am so sorry for your loss.

I had friends that had an English Bulldog 18 months old and were travelling home from a show with it, and turned round to see their beloved dog dead in his cage and another friend that had a 2 year old greyhound that was running up a field and just collapsed and died. It is a terrible shock as you dont expect them just to die like that. And whats worst is you dont usually find out what caused it.
