Rowan had a very busy weekend and is now enjoying a bit of r & r -



here's some pics of his busy Sunday which followed on from an equally good day at Wiltshire Game Fair Saturday where he went through to the semi-final in the sim coursing and ran very well in some very hot weather! But any way ... Sunday



We met up with Rowan's brother Ozzie and sister Fern at the Worcester Whippet Racing Club show



Ozzie lives locally so we see him a fair bit





but we haven't seen Fern since this time last year :wub:



and Fern and Ozzie haven't caught up since they were 8weeks old :wub: :wub:



Rowan got it in the neck from both his Mum and his sister!



I haven't seen the "serious racers" letting off steam like this but I was pleased Rowan still had a bit of running left in his legs :-

so after we finished the fun and games in the big space of Perdiswell we headed home where the humans enjoyed burgers while the pointy noses rehydrated with plenty of water and the yummy bottled chicken gravy from Aunty Amanda - thank you Amanda! :thumbsup:







PS Fern and Rowan both ran well (Fern had never chased a lure before) and both won their show classes although shall we say there was more competition in the smooth classes than the rough?! :- :b

It was "Pow Wow Active" rehydration drink thingy - they were given to all the racers and ours loved it!

I think Willow had more than her fair share though - and she didn't run any races!! (w00t)
