Roxy is a sweet natured 14 year old black Labrador Cross girl (the size of a small labrador) who came into our care because she was being left alone for long hours in her previous home and her owner did not think it was fair on this lovely girl. Roxy is in an Oldies Club foster home in Kent.
This beautiful girl loves people. She is a sedate, calm dog who loves her sleep but still likes a good walk too. If she’s not snoozing away at your feet, she will be snuggled up in a cosy bed having a nap instead. She will play ball and with a tug-toy, bringing out the puppy in her for a minute then back to sleep!
Roxy is at her most energetic when out on a walk. Despite her relaxed nature indoors, she loves to get out and about. Roxy doesn’t pull on the lead and comes back when called, although as she is a little deaf, this may take a few calls.
Roxy has been vet checked and is in good condition for her age. She is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and flea and worm treated.
Roxy hadn’t been used to living with other dogs, but after a short settling-in period she is fine with the resident dog in her foster home. She would probably be happiest as the only dog in her new home, as she likes her own space, but she is great with dogs she meets out and about. Roxy is not used to living with cats. She has lived with children and responds to them well.
Roxy travels well in the car and has been fine being left for a couple of hours at home. Her quiet nature makes her a very easy girl to live with. She will make a wonderful companion for the lucky someone that adopts this lovely little girl!
