Just heard the very sad news that Roy Metcalfe died very suddenly yesterday.....a great dog man and very good and honest judge. He will be sadly missed in the dog world.

So very sad. I met Roy for the first time many years ago when he was secretary of Burnley and used to show his Standard LH Dachshunds. He really liked whippets, a genuine hound man. Our thoughts go to his wife and family at this very sad time.
