I have just received confirmation today that an admirer of the South East Club is sponsoring us for 2007 with a four figure sum of money, this is great news for racers at the club especially with all the fine bred pups that will be completing next year it makes all the work involved with the running of the club worthwhile. All that remains now is to put things into motion and plan for the year ahead.

Club racing tookm place today with some excellent racing taking place the results are as follows :-

Scratch 1st Bigland Vixen 2nd Bigland Fred 3rd Tiger Tiger 4th Tatto

A final Silver Lady B final Eversley Lad C final

The club has received some excellent news today concerning our weekend event in 2007, an admirer of the club has sponsored us with a four figure some of money, this gives us an extra incentive to work towards for the coming season. We have some fine puppies ready to be trained at the end of this year for 2007 so all in all it is quite encouraging.

A Final 1st Silver Lady 2nd 1/2 length behind Blue Reflections 3rd Red Reign 4th having her first run for a while Monohan.

B final 1st Eversley Lad 2nd In Dreams 3rd Ipod

C final 1st Miss Mellish (nearly back to her right weight and running well) 2nd Spitting Image 3rd Real Mad Red 4th Just For Us

D final 1st Kit 2nd Rumple Teaser.

A good race meeting held in the first sun of this week.

great news abot the sponsorship Sheila, whippet racing in the south will get some great publicity now that the new sponsor is involved.

I saw the interview on SKY and thought that Steve Williams did a great job in promoting the BWRA and the S.E.WRC. He gave a lot of information about the whippet racing in general and I think it will suprise a lot of people just as to what these little whippets are capable of. WELL DONE STEVE.

We are looking forward to the open at Thurrock on Sunday, hope to see a lot of the whippet racers from up country coming down to compete.
