It is with regret that I have to announce the death of "Motty" who owned the Linton track, our thoughts are with his family at this time. He will be sadly missed by everyone at the Heart of England.

Thanks for letting us know Paul.
For those that don't remember him - Motty was a great character in racing and he and his wife Mary had a lot of good dogs using the Swepstone racing affix. Their Fed.Ch. Swepstone Gem is behind a lot of dogs running today.
I remember Brian as being very friendly and helpful, always ready for a laugh..... And he always won the raffle
I'm sure he will be missed by many.

A sad day indeed. Brian Mott - scourge of the raffle. Mind you he always bought about 20 quids worth of tickets!
