Ron Brown of Flamden Whippets passed away on Monday after a long illness.

Although Ron and Berys have not shown whippets for quite a few years they both still have an interest in the breed. Their dogs went back to some of the most well known lines of the sixties & seventies. Probably the best known would be Charlie Dempster's Charmoll - with Ron having the brother of Charmoll MacTavish.

A [SIZE=21pt]VERY [/SIZE]nice man was Ron we will miss him greatly.

Berys judged Northern Counties Whippet Club show last year, something Ron had always wanted her to do, judge a Whippet club show.

What sad news , but Ron had been ill for quite along time and the last time I saw him he couldnt talk at all

Ron, Berys and I have had many laughs together over the years . mainly about a photo that their son Robert took of me during the 80s`,

Without going into details I stopped wearing jeans :- " , took to wearing skiirts, then Rob took an even better pic whilst I was showing my dog :b but it proved I did where them

Im sure Berys is heartbroken and are the rest of the family , but it will have been a merciful release for Ron
