Betty Beaumont has asked me to put this on for her.....

Sad News. My Benny, Ch. Barmoll Beaujolais At Teisenlap was put to sleep last week at the age of nearly 14 years. He was, to me, a dog in a million, my constant companion and is missed very much.

He was such a special dog and I had great times with him at home, in the show ring and at the races. Apart from his success in the ring, he was well known on the racing circuit as a trials dog for youngsters just starting their schooling. One memorable weekend was that after winning his class at Crufts, he raced the next day at the South Cotswolds. He is missed so much.

Please extend our sympathies to Betty, Judy. We all know how hard it is to get over a loss like this.

Ok Lana. I shall print off any replies for her to read. I am sure she will be glad to know that people are thinking of her.

It's so sad :(

'Old' Ben was a really lovely gentle chap - I know how much Betty will miss him following her from room to room and under her feet all the time.

Our thoughts are with Betty and Steve.

RIP Ben is whippy heaven.

Sorry to hear this sad news. We like to think all our dogs are special but its hard when we lose that very special friend. I only knew him as a show dog but you could see he had that calm, easy attitude that came with self assurance.

You have my heart felt sympathy Betty, remember what you gave each other.

very sorry to hear the sad news :( my heart goes out to betty and steve.

:( So sorry to read this sad new...... I never actually saw this dog in flesh but liked him on pictures.

Heartfelt sympathy.

My sympathy to Betty on the loss of a much loved friend

So sorry Betty, having met you and Ben, I know how much you will miss him. He was a very special dog, and I will always treasure the photo you sent me of him winning at Crufts. His spirit will live on in his children and grandchildren, in my Archie for one who is often reminded about special Grandad Ben.
