the rescue pound where i used to work has been in touch with me today asking if i can help them find homes for 2 dogs they have in .

one is a saluki x female , approx 12 months old , looks a lot like a saluki apparently ??

and the other is either a full whippet or slight cross ,, he is a boy about 3 / 4 months old .

if any one is intrested please pm me and i can give you more details ,,, thank you :D

I think a young whippet pup will be very easily placed. How did he come into care?

Salukis and saluki crosses are gorgeous, but probably harder to find homes for.

what area is the pound in?

Do they keep the dogs indefinitely? (if not, please get on to whippet and saluki or lurcher rescue societies asap!

spoken to the pound today , they are in barnsley , south yorskshire .

the whippie pup has been homed but saluki x is yet to be homed .

she is 3/4 saluki 1/4 collie by the looks of it ,, absolutely

is approx 11 months old and great with kids n dogs .

off for her 2nd vac on thursday and would love a home of her own

such a pretty , gracefull dog

typical saluki nature / looks etc

Any chance of a pic or 2? Also suggest they post with pic in homes wanted on www.lurcher.org as saluki x's are popular.
