wallsend sports centre is currently under negotaitions ( sp) to be sold off the to the wallsend golf club. this means we wud lose bigges maine whippet track which has been racing for possibly for more than 40 years. not only wud the whippets lose their track but also the archery club, the bowls club, the cricket club and the rugby club. there is currently a petition going round to save the sports centre even the lib dems local council r backing the petition. as far as im aware terry black has given chris ( foxy roxy) a petition to take to dawdon tommorow so can everyone please sign it. if u arent going to dawdon terry is going to find out who to e mail to save the sports centre and let me know. when i do il post it on here and it wud be a great help if people can e mail 2 save the sports centre. thankyou. carole craigie.
