Ok folks - entries close on Friday the 24th April - so here is a run down of the weekend :thumbsup:

The Caledonian Thistle PWRC are proud to present the first ever Scottish open - incorporating the first Scottish Beagle racing open - to be run in the breaks

We have got one of the best tracks in Britain, and we will be running trails on Friday and Saturday 3pm - 6pm

There will be free camping and caravans on our huge private site, also on site we have toilets, hot meals, drinks of all kinds, and the local chip shop is on alert for deliveries over the weekend, so no need to leave the site if you dont want to !

We are putting on entertainment over the weekend - theres a five a side football match on Saturday, and that evening there will be a dog show - judged by a local celebrity , a darts competition and a Mr and Mrs competition (w00t)

And on the Sunday evening after the racing and presentation we are having a Karaoke contest !!!!

There will be full cooked breakfasts on Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning, plus home cooked meals etc the whole weekend

Every dog that races will recieve a rosette and a Caledonian badge

The winners will recieve Scottish prizes

We have got superb tartan rosettes, trophies, and tartan jackets for the Supreme Winner, Cons winner and Veteran winner, and hopefully we will have a piper to lead out the finalists

The racing should be fantastic with some of the best scottish dogs against the best english dogs

We have recieved entries from the south of England to the north of Scotland

And we are very straight forward to get to - main roads all the way - here are some websites to help with your journey Google map , and Street map

The Beagle racing - which is the only racing of its kind in the UK will have the derby winner, and the clubs top bitch and top dog, its hugely entertaining

Really disappointed that we can't make it this year. I really fancied a short break up in Scotland but just not meant to be this year. Hopefully we'll be able to make it next year. Good luck to you all.

OMG you wouldn't want to hear my voice, but Steve might have a go once he's had a few beers!! I hear Jane Rankin can hold a tune too (she's gonna kill me for that ) Come to think of it, I've never seen her after a few drinks, so maybe this could be a first!! It sounds like it's going to be a great weekend - we can't wait!
