Is this still going or has it been stopped?

I cannot find a webite for it and wonder if it had been included in the 'discover dogs' show in November in London?

As we couldn't get to Crufts I thought we would try and get to some other types of dog show.

It seems the final of 'scruffts' was on Friday at Crufts. It seems it's no longer it's own show.

Shame really!

I had never heard of this until your post!

Have you been to the London Pet Show at Olympia?

Scruffts was a crossbread equiverlant of crufts. Pudsey and that girl (sorry can't remember her name lol) won it before they won Britain's got talent.

I haven't been to the London pet show but thinking of doing it this year or maybe another dog show in London.

I just enjoy the buzz around them.

They run qualifier competitions at various locations throughout the year - see if there is one you can go to. Other than that, why not join a club where you can give agility or obedience a go.............you do't need a pedigree dog for that.

Ohh that's interesting! I think I may enter Oreo into one of the shows for prettiest bitch and best rescue!

We won't win but it'll be fun to try!

Do you think ill have to get her trained to walk around a ring to heel?

She can't so that so that maybe a problem lol

After looking into this I think I am going to give scruffts a go.

It maybe too early for Oreo this year but I am going to attempt to get her trained for next year.

Have contacted a few training classes (more for me than her) as she knows the basics but her recall and walk to heel are pretty much none existant.

When I am booked in I may keep an online diary on here of the progress just for those who are interest can keep up to date.

I have no experience in dog showing what so ever so it will be interesting to see how a novice like me can do with a fair decent looking resuce dog! lol
