Thanks to the Nationals and the Northern for an excellent days racing. There was a really great atmosphere throughout the whole day. It was great to see some of Freddies brothers from Scotland and the sight of Jane Rankin in a pink onesie is a memory i'll cherish forever (w00t) . It was a lovely and emotional moment when Roy picked up his award for Dolly Bird, the cheer he got was fantastic. Thanks to all those who worked so hard to make it a great day.

I really missed not being there (got stuck into planting up in the garden to take my mind off it!) but thanks to the great pics on the Northern facebook page I have enjoyed scrolling through and picking out all the whippets that I know.

Huge thanks to everyone that helped out on the day and to all at the Northern for making us so welcome.

Massive well done to our four new National Champions Dolly Byrd, Maid at Mill, Polly Flinders and Bring it Back, three new National Veteran Champions My Girl Lollipop, Sapphire Queens Topaz and Sapphires Gem, and two new National Graduates Star Attraction and Markamy's Red Fred, not forgetting Quiver, Markamy's Black Bentley and Enchanter for increasing their tally of wins. Hope I have not forgotten anyone!

Three days later and I have just about recovered, was a really enjoyable day.
