This past weekend my 7 1/2 month old pups Santi took 2 BOWs and Piero 1 WD over a very nice American Champion who was #5 last year and in the top groupings since he was a yearling (he's almost 5 now)! It's only their second weekend out (the first weekend was even better) and I'm getting spoiled! This is my first litter so I am especially proud :)

I didn't realize it was different! In North America the class dogs (non Champions) compete for Winners Dog (WD) and the class bitches (non Champions) compete for Winners Bitch (WB). The Specials (Champions) then come in and the WD, WB and Specials compete for Best of Breed (BOB) and Best of Opposite (so if BOB is a bitch, this would be the best dog). Best of Winners (BOW) is also selected between the WD and WB.

The American Champion competed as a class dog because the show was in Canada where he is not a champion.

Well done!

What a great start to their show careers!
