Hi everyone

What leads do people use to show their Whippets on, and where can you get them from?

Don't know if my pup will make the showring - but I can be prepared!

Thanks

I know Dawn on the board has made one, perhaps she could help you.

i use the ones i get from jr whippet rescue , do the job perfectly

most champ shows have loads of stalls selling them , get one to compliment your dogs colour , im very boring and have black for jan ( red brindle) and a cream for bliss ( fawn)

i have seen some lovely coloured ones but as ive said i stick to good old black / brown / cream etc :D and you want a nice thin one , nothing too chunky

I use leather slip leads on all mine Owen and Tegan use a brown one (both fawn brindle) William (black brindle and white greyhound ) has a black one Bandit has a white leather half check lead with a silver chain.

Most of mine I get from shows but I did get a couple of ebay

Hi, I am new to showing whippets too and I started with a rolled leather half choke lead and collar and then swopped for a very thin choke/slip chain as mine go better in them.

I got my firts lead from hide and collars but I have bought my others from stands at shows.
