This occasionally scares the heck out of small dog owners encountering Miles and his friendly friends...
But it's a sign of love and affection (and not an indication of a hungry dog).

If they dislocate their jaw like a snake,
Sorry to be pedantic... snakes don't actually dislocate their jaw to eat they just have super stretchy ligaments and their lower jaw is not fused to skull to allow for a much wider gape, I believe....:rolleyes:😁 watching them 'walk' prey into their mouths is actually quite fascinating!...🐍🐍🐍🐍
 
This is how my relatives new BC was with my female BC when he left, probaby a way to say goodbye.
