my first whippet, Sunny, will be 12 next month and has suddenly started looking a bit old

after being at crufts this year it got me wondering, has anyone seen his name on any of their dog's pedigrees?

I remember seeing a couple of bitches years ago and being told that they were his daughters

I'd be really greatful if anyone knows of any of his offspring :thumbsup:

His name is Silkstone Must Be Magic, (Hillsdown Fergal x Fire Dance At Silkstone) and he was born in April 1994

Mine are all related , his mum `Firedance of Silkstone` was litter sister to my Camllia ( Carved Opal at Silkstone)and she was Mayzees mum , who is Mollees mu m etc ..............

Im sure the dog Jan Doherty had was Silkstone Mystic , so he would be his litter brother , shame he has since died

Jax, Jan did have his litter brother, Indie, and she also had Sunny, but she was kind enough to let us have him - I think that the fact that the brothers had got to the stage where they hated each other helped :- "

I have 3 of mine with Firedance of Silkstone in their pedigrees, GGG grand-parent to all, He is still a beautiful boy :wub: :thumbsup:

And my and Millie's Belgian brother & sister, Django and Diva, are out of a bitch who is by Silkstone Illusion, whose dam was Firedance and sire was Dutch Gold!!! So the world becomes even smaller!!!

I think I am right in saying that ch Fullerton Dream Movers Dam was Silkstone Kiss of Fire (Dutch Gold x Firedance ) who must have been a full sister to your boy!

So must be little Louis' great Uncle I think!

Dutch Gold x Firedance were the parent's of Django/Diva's grandfather (Silkstone Illusion) so Kiss of Fire is their Great Aunt! LOL! Are you with me so far!!! Now does that make Louis and Django cousins? Second cousins?? Twice removed???

Sunny is by Hillsdown Fergal x Firedance, so is a half-brother to Kiss of Fire/Illusion
