We have three gorgeous whippets - Poppy,4, Pip 2 and Lily who is 7 months. The elder two sleep in their crate and have done so from day one without any bother. Lily refuses point blank to sleep in a crate - she hates the door being closed although she willl happily sleep in it during the day as long as the door is open. She becomes very distressed - yes, we have tried all sorts to try and encourage her. She sleeps with us and unfortunately wakes once or twice in the night to go out - she either doesn't need much sleep or she just can't "hold on". We have tried allsorts - feeding her early, feeding her later, walking her socks off -nothing makes any difference. In all other ways, she's an absolute delight - it's just that we're tired!
Any hints, anyone?
