Sorry not many pictures as yet...James is a bit of a handful..tonight I was playing on the floor with him and he got over excited jumped up and bit my nose very hard, I now have a fairly deep inch long slice along my nose which bled everywhere and made my eyes water...little scamp

Here is the angelic creature sleeping like a baby....

Sorry can't believe that cute little puppy sleeping like that has bitten you must have been moonpig.

Taking of moonpig what does she think of him ?

I'm afraid ALL of my dogs are scared of him.....Bryn won't come downstairs much but when he does he bites first and asks questions later

Woody runs off down the garden and stays there until I go and bring him in.Badger has been the best so far and as you can see from the third picture he will go near the pup if he's quiet.

But Moonpig has been hilarious! if James so much as brushes past her leg,she lifts her foot out the way and does the same with each foot he touches , ( please picture a baboon doing Riverdance) (w00t) . She barks at him and runs away shuddering

However, when he wasn't looking, she "adopted" one of his toys and now guards it from him but if she leaves it anywhere he gets it and she's too afraid to take it back and has to wait until he's asleep.

I think it will be interesting times ahead...he seems very advanced for his age, he cocked his leg for the first time today and he's only eight weeks old. He gets a bit naughty if you tell him off but training hasn't started yet( toilet training is almost complete and he's very very good, only three little accidents and he already goes to the door to be let out).

I always give pups the first week to get used to the family and some kind of routine,so this Sunday I will start training him properly.I have got him to re-call in the house and garden to two whistles and he is learning his name but that's just baby stuff,Iwant to getting him sitting/standing and down on command as soon as possible, then I intend to get him doing a few tricks  .....need to have firm control if he is eventually to be my running companion.......but part of me thinks he might turn out to be a mini Moonpig

He hasn't cocked his leg since then....he is slowly improving his behaviour a little now he is getting better acquainted with Badger and Bryn's teeth

I think he will shape up into a very sweet boy if rather naughty and disobedient, just need to sort his poor eyes out.

aww how seriously cute is he, little munchkin, love the way all the whippets are scared of him, he must be a little whirlwind.

Good luck with his training !
