Many thanks to Gene Gallagher and his comittee, for a well organised show yesterday, and Barry Holland for his firm but fair judgement. Barry a job well done.A great days enjoyment was had by all.

A Big Congratulations to Catherine Slevin (Wife of Matt Slevin) on her big win. Catherine won the Best Champion Overall in show with her winning Terrier Bess.Catherine,Us women and men also were so proud of you yesterday. I am sure that big cup was full of good old Irish Whiskey last night. A safe journey down home to day,and make sure you put that cup pride of place on the mantle piece in your home in Slaney Valley.

Also congratulations to Rose Mc Coy on winning in the racing. Rose went home with an armful of Rossettes and trophys for both racing and showing yesterday. A big congratulations to the fellow who won the The Whippet Champion, I am sorry I dont know your name, but you had a real winner there.Lovely dog. We were very lucky also yesterday,by getting Reserve Champion Whippet with our Whippet "Silver".Silver never lets us down. A big congratulations to all the rest of the class winners, they were all top class dogs there yesterday. Barry had a very hard job to do yesterday, but done it very professionally. Bluebell was there as usual taking photographs of everybodys winning moments. Deidre , you do a great job, and bring so much happiness to us all when we look back over them in the long winter nights. Many thanks Deidre.

Gene, again thanks for a memorable day, and already looking forward to next years show.We ended the day by going over to the Agricultural Show in the main Arena, and listining and watching people dancing to Declan Nearney and his band. There was face painting and a pet show for the children there, and every farm animal you could name. A great astomphere, a bar in the tent and a very successful day.
