Morning all.

My cocker has a yellow/green discharge coming from his nose (seems to be only from one nostril though); he's also sniffing/snorting/sneezing a fair bit. It mainly seems to be after he's been led down for a while. Is it something like a human cold or something to be concerned about? He's absolutely fine in himself (no sign of lethargy or appetite is fine)

Thanks

Morning,

Yellow discharge from the nose sometimes means a respiratory infection and sometimes kennel cough.

if you have ever been to a kennels you will see some dogs with the same thing and they cannot be rehomed until they are better.

best to get him to the vet and they will most likely put him on antibiotics for 5 days to clear it all up.

better to go now before he gets worse but i must stress it's nothing to worry about, as it is quite common.

Hope your pooch gets well soon.
