Just thot id ask on here.If anyones had snow this week.As it started here on monday evening, and never stopped once.Till yesterday morning.Along with it,came the most powerfull wind, that ive seen in many years.A big part of Northern Ireland,is still without power.Up to 35.000 homes. There was such a force of wind. That the snow stuck to our houses. The back and side of my house.Resembled a badly cared for chest freezer, turned inside out,or summit..With a solid wall of ice, measuring almost 4 inches from its surface,to the pebbledash wall, beneath it.Needless to say.My heating had to be kept on constantly, and the house just wouldnt heat.I measured the depth of the snow.Just a mile up the roads behind us,and on a good large area of flat ground. It was between 8 and 10 inches deep. The small area of Castlederg, were we live.Even made the news.2 miles outside this area.Hadnt more than a an inch. But the famous Glenshane Pass. Was a total disaster. With cars being totaly covered,in deep drifting snow.Thankfully, the lightning has all gone now too,and the sun is trying to do its job of thawing, the bloody stuff. Its put a stop to any lure training for a while too.
