Don't ya just love it when you finish a job you been dreading. I just defrosted our freezer - a job thats taken about 3 weeks as we ate up all the food stashed away. Boy do I feel great - I now know there are no half finished bags of peas, odd peas in the bottom that got away, old meat pies that are well past their use by date, and NO ICE!
There was something so satisfying about cobbling together meals out of whatever I unearthed. Tea tonight - burger and bacon casserole washed down with sticky toffee pudding that has been lurking in freezer for a few weeks. Meal fit for a king (or my hubbie I guess!)
