A very hot day at Thurrock yesterday with a disappointing turn out of dogs 42 in all but the weekend after the Derby and so close to Devon this was understandable.

Nevertheless some closely contested racing took place, and it was nice to see John Gisby out and about after his operation.

Sorry Sheila

You had put the yearling final in but I thought at first it was all part of the 32lb final.

well done all the winner's. sorry you did'nt get more dogs :b but with all the classic's and weekend event's one after another and now Devon coming up, it very hard for people and dogs, think the classic's should be spread out over the year something that need addressing for next year, this would give all the clubs opens, a better chance to get the dogs attending and with all the hard work that committee put in to keep the clubs running its only fair the get our support

What Now was second in overall bitch final and did not run in cons.

Morpheous won heat 1

I stand corrected Piglet you are dead right and What Now was second in the bitch final and was the closest dog to Swift One all day. It was actually Morpheous who won the first consolation race.

well done bill and dorrien with blue reflections and also well done to the supreme winner swift one more to come from this bitch this year :D :p

My apologies to Tony Warren whose dog Tinkerman was second in the dog section at the So What Open on Sunday with John's Gisby's Another Spot third.

Audrey Johnson has confirmed that she will be amending the points for the Top Gun competition after the Devon BWRA Open.
