sorry i've been quiet, i've been worrying about Rosa for the last few weeks,

about a month ago an ugly, purple, angry lump started growing rapidly on her back, it went from small spot to penny size in a fortnight and was solid to the core, we took her to the vets and he advised that it should come off immediately as it had a suspicious looking edge to it. she was duely booked in and operated on while i sat at home feeling sick because the old girl nearly died the last time she had anaesthetic. :( they took quite a large size area round it to make sure they got it all and then sent it off to the labs.

i've been nervously waiting for the results for nearly 2 weeks now but yesterday i got the phone call... and it's benign :sweating: he gave me the proper name for it but i wasn't listening as i was bouncing about too much

silly owd bitch giving me scares like that (w00t)

Thats fantastic news Becca. So glad she's going to be ok

Ahhh, phew! thats great news :D Glad shes Ok, she looks a real sweetheart

That's wonderful news  I'm so happy for you. She is lovely

Awwww, Becka, you must have been worried sick :(

Sooooooo glad that she's gonna be fine

Ella sends healing licks for Great Grandma and lots of whippie huggles :huggles: :huggles: :huggles:

Brillant news  What a weight of your mind :sweating:

ta :huggles: i'll get a couple of photo's later of her,

her stitches are suposed to be coming out on monday but i'm having trouble keeping her still and quiet so she keeps opening it up again :( the daft cow goes mental in a cage and will only stand being in one for a short time, i tried putting her in my bedroom... so she tore a hole in my duvet in protest when i wouldn't let her join the others  she's a feisty old bat and flatly refuses to keep out of the way of play fighting puppies, she's desperate to join any fun and really gives me "evils" when i stop her.

i wouldn't change her though

 Sounds like a job for vetrap with a coat on over it

Good luck getting it healed up, hun :luck: :luck:

Gin's a big pain in the bum, she's stealing food from the cupboards, shredding books and magazines like a naughty puppy, beating up Amos, winding up Rosa and goading Oto into rough playfighting.

she even had the "balls" to snatch my brothers kebab offa him when he came in drunk last week  she had his sandwich the week before when he came home in a similar state ( i think she can tell she's got a chance when his co-ordination is off) (w00t)

i wouldn't change a thing about her either :huggles:

If he comes in in that state he deserves to have his kebab snatched

true

you would think after having his butty nicked the week before he'd have learn't his lesson.. alas no

worse still, ater she had snatched at half of it, he finished the rest of the "whippet licked" kebab off instead of putting it in the bin :x

P.S i've put steri strips over Rosa's stitches to give added support and it seems to be holding it well

and as an added bonus, her operation seems to have had a slight "tummy tuck" effect, pulling in some of her left over pregnancy belly (w00t)
