Sophie, Whippet X Staffie, DOB 2010 - East Grinstead, West Sussex
Homing Requirements: Sophie needs a caring family who can continue to take her through into life in slow, sure steps. Sophie needs a secure garden and care around exits as with any dog. Sophie would welcome living with another dog or as an only dog in a companion home. Sophie appears indifferent to cats but hasn't been cat assessed in a home environment.
Her Story: Sophie was rescued from a pound only to end up within a dog hoarder rescuer's care. She was then taken into a caring pound and waited many months for a rescue place. Sophie is now neutered, chipped and fully vax'd. Sophie is in foster in East Grinstead, West Sussex and lives alongside other dogs.
Advert: Sophie is a softie. She is welcoming of company and social by nature. She relaxes in other dogs company both inside the house and once settled on meeting outside. She is easy to walk on an extender lead and relaxed when walking, observant and connected. Sophie has achieved housetraining despite the length of her crated period and kennelling. Sophie has had many encounters with cats and presents as relaxed - even allowing a cat to run without chase. Good travelling in the car.
Sophie is a 2 year old Staffie cross. She has a slender build which relates to her 'whippet' genetics but seems not to have the associated chase drive. She is very loving and definitely would like access to sofa's and ideally your bed. Yes Sophie is soft and loves softness!
