Sore on dog's face

Hello,

My dog (12 month old springer spaniel) has had a red sore appear on his face with loss of the hair too. It doesn't seem to be weeping or bothering him. He's had no obvious injury that I'm aware of. Just wondering if anyone else has had similar before i seek advice from the vet.

It looks like it could be a hot spot - you can read more about hot spots here: Hot spots (acute moist dermatitis) in dogs

However, we're not vets, and it's not possible to diagnose from a photo, so I strongly recommend that you visit your vet so they can diagnose properly and advise on the correct treatment.
