A lovely sunny day for whippet racing everywhere. At the South Cotswolds the track was looking much better having been cut and with the recent rain there was plenty of give in the ground. All the whippets gave a good display off their respective handicap marks and along with their owners lapped up the warm weather

New racers Special Brew (Quiver x Squashbug) Vensuter Wheal Chimes (Texacana Venture x Wheatroyd Wheal Kitty) Nubs Shifter (Quiver x Honeybunch) and Blackthorn Slippy (Cheap Thrills x Wheatroyd Wheal Kitty) all added some extra excitement to the racing.
Special thanks to Tilly who did a great job helping Malcolm with the line judging and Lorna and Neil for giving a helping hand at the traps.
