The South Cotswolds Pedigree Whippet Racing Club will be holding the 2nd of its 6 Handicap Competitions for 2015 on Sunday 12th April

The competition will take place at the Commoners Cricket Ground, (also known as the KIng George V Playing Field) Nympsfield, Nailsworth, Nr Stroud. GL10 3UH

Racing will be club handicap over 160yds @ 2ft per mark (dog treats to the winners of each race)

Points accumulated in this series count towards the 'SCPWRC Handicap Trophy' Badge and voucher to the winner with prizes to 6th place

Points are also accumulated in a separate league for the 'Flying Whippet Trophy' for the top Showbred racer

RACING WILL START PROMPTLY AT 11am as the field is booked in the afternoon for the Commoners

TRIALS for this meeting must be pre-booked

Gates Open at 10.00 - trials start at 10.30am, before 2nd round racing and after racing, time permitting!

It was nice to see Richard back at the club on the line judging with help from Sue and Ginny. Thanks to all who helped out and to Peter who will be a fully fledged lure driver before long under Mike's guidance.

We also welcomed Gilly and Pam with Darkling Damsel and Junior Spikes both running well on their first run at the track.

Red Apache continues to improve defying his new handicap mark to win both his races along with Wilsdon Billy Mac and Wilsdon Little Mac who both also won two races each, putting all three dogs plus The Were Rabbit close at the top of the Leader Board.

Yes the Wilsdons did have a very enjoyable day with my three runners really liking the track and preforming for my birthday!! Have not seen Billy race like it for a long time so thanks again for a great day.
