We had a good racing entry on Sunday with fourteen races and no non runners. The ground was in excellent condition after the grass had been cut on Thursday and then the downpour.

Red Apache and Nubs Shifter had a good duel in both their races with each taking one apiece. Lulu's Pride, Dearly Devoted and Wilsdon Little Mac (returning from injury) all did doubles on the day with Go Bailey Go continuing to improve and surprise me in her veteran status. Angela's lovely pup Nora did a smashing 3 dog trial off scratch with Dearly Devoted and Kit Cat and Flo passed her clearing trials and is now ready to race.

Special mention must go to Strongbow (veteran) who has come back to racing after more than a year off after breaking a back leg which was smashed in a few places and although having lost a fair bit of his speed has not lost any of his verve!

Bonny little pups Enzo, Zippy and Jasmine are all showing tremendous keeness and as a club we are looking forward to having a few more little'uns to race!

Red Apache and Wilsdon Little Mac are now tied at the top of the handicap league table on 47 points each and looking difficult to catch with Go Bailey Go lying in a gallant 3rd position on 42 points with Blackthorn Bob and Special Brew in equal 4th on 40 points.

Hope to see you all next time for round 5

The wilsdon team had a very good day with Sam not troubled by his injury which healed very well and Ben just loving the racing there. We were thrilled that both boys enjoyed it as well and Starr had a trial and Billy still recovering was more that keen to get back on the track but was not allowed but he joined in with the barking!!

we had a lovely relaxing day and it was a shame to have to come home to get ready to go to work the next day.

many thanks for your hard work Maggi
