South Cotswolds would like to thank all of its members and friends who helped in the running of our near to damn it, perfect open today  (not that we are biased or anything :- " )........and also to Gloucester for the use of their traps, etc........ .....and also thanks to the people who turned up to offer their support without even a dog to run (w00t) .....For example so many people traveling from up North to help and people who deliberately made arrangements (off their own back) to meet and show the caterers (who were last minuite due to our others letting us down  ) the way to our club  .........It was so nice to see so much support and effort/help put into our club, and so many people wanting everything to go well for South Cotswolds .........Thankyou all :huggles:

Hi Hannah,

it's everyone who raced today that should be thanking everyone at the South Cottswolds for what IMO was the best run open this year, not only a great atmosphere but NO re-runs NO equipment breakdowns a realy well run open.

well done to everyone concerned.

thought i'd post a pick of Chris Bishop I took at the Open, looking at the birds again!. :- "

LOL......I can't imagine anyone swearing at Mark  .........poor Paula i gather she was right and Mark was wrong (w00t) ......but he should be used to that (w00t) :- "

BO###CKS!

My wife is worse than a GPS Route finder at least you can turn one of those off when they get annoying  at one point I nearly threw her out of the van in a country Lane (1 of many we went down "SIGN POST" )

You stop and ask a local for direction? only they not locals they are all from London in their weekend houses!.

LOL poor Paula :( ...........as for londoners at their weekend retreat, don't get me started on that topic, of we live in the countryside and love all the little animals  .......i'll shut up now (w00t)

We agree - well done South Cotswolds! Good, well run open - we enjoyed ourselves, as did many others.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day at Lympsfield. A very "uneventful" day as far as the organisation and equipment were concerned. We will definately come again.

Some of us had no problems following your excellent directions to the field, but then we were not in a hurry.

Good days racing....I caught up with Scott after he flew passed me on the Motorway (road hog)so I followed him...He had an electrical gadget to find his way didn't help though. :- " ..the countryside was beautiful. But I did find out later Ray fine and Dandys' daddy who had been to sth cots at least six times still got lost blamed it on the sign post or lack of.. :- " Scott found his way back to the motorway afterwards then I didn't see him for dust.I bet he was home before me. Thanks Scott.

We put out loads of sign posts (just didn't know that one of the roads was going to be closed) ..........As for Ray getting lost on his way to us (w00t) .......I don't believe it

Me a road hog ? :b

Road hog was the person in the VW that was facing me in the wrong direction on the M5 as I was doing 95 towards them!

Dunno who was more scared, me or them!

The GPS knew where we were, just not where we wanted to go! :b

Wait till I get the John Cooper Works upgrade and we'll get lost even faster! :- "

Thanks for all your kind words ..and being EXTREMELY biased i'd have to agree with Marks comments .But what do you expect , the open ran well because of a top class racing manager on the day ensuring all went well .... only joking. :- " .

Thanks again to ALL helpers including a rather chopsey / loud person from the North :p for all your help/support and to Mike Eaton for transporting Gloucesters equipment down for us .

Thanks for making it such a good day.

Chris.
