We had a lovely club day with more trialling than racing but we had great time with the trials as new people bringing their dogs realised what fun can be enjoyed. The weather and company was good and we had a good raffle as well. We look forward to many more hopefully.

With the exception of race 4 the first runs were done as scratch within weight groups

Based on the first results the handicaps were changed to give a chance to the others

I have a 7 month old whippet bitch that I was originally going to show but have failed miserably to curb her full on behaviour and train her as a show dog. I love seeing her running and would like to attend a race meeting and learn more about this activity. Would you please let me have dates and location of forthcoming meetings?

Our next 2 meetings are 8th and 22nd July and we race at the Marathon Rugby Club sport ground on the road to Horspath just on the left after the Bus Depot. We normally get there about 11.00 onwards to put up track and start about 12.00.
