Thanks to k9commuinty putting me in touch with the South West Whippet Racing club we tried it out for the first time last Sunday.

For anyone thinking about it I would say try it. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and although we new nothing and had never even see a whippet race before they made us feel very welcome and were full of really great advice.

Our Whippet - Willowood Charlie Boy - really loved it. I am so glad we went and cant wait to go again and see him progress.

Glad you enjoyed your days racing Emma,Somerset is a lovely club and ground to race on.We went there last Sunday to race our pup Sash and had a great day,I love the way we all stop for lunch and retire to the club house for munchies ,now you have the bug there will be no stopping you.!!!! :thumbsup:
