Yes, whippet classes are huge, and as you say it can seem fantastic just to make the cut. I was thinking that when I looked at the Lakeland Terrier results for SKC a couple of weeks ago - only two males were entered - once got the CC and the other got the reserve!!!!! :- " :wacko: Somehow there wouldn't be quite the sense of achievement would there!! :sweating: :teehee:

(w00t) No not much achievement at all really,, that really is alow entry!! I was looking at the Deerhounds today and I think the entry was 19 in total (before absentees!) To think whippet puppy dog had just about the same number!!

Was great catching up with known faces and new faces. Met Tracy (TracyChamberlin) and Sally and they were wonderfully kind and stayed with Teya while I had Savvy in the ring. Bless her heart she put me to shame and did NONE of the screaming fits I had warned them about. Hmmm perhaps I should hire them permanently!

Didn't get anywhere, but Teya was brilliant in the ring - held herself well, and was 98% solid on the table (finally), so I was very pleased.

That table was a nightmare when Archie went up the carpet was the wrong way round and his back legs were just sliding everywhere So we asked the stewards to move it the other way round so the ribs of the carpet were perpendicular to the dog, I think this sorted it out so everyone after Graduate Dog was okay Funny how these little things make all the difference!

Wow thanks! I'm glad you did. She's only just started to feel secure up there the last two shows, so if she'd been sliding it could have put her off again (not to mention the other pups it might have put off).
