Spencer, Staffie, DOB 01.12 – Godstone, Surrey

Homing Requirements: Spencer needs a family to support him and provide him with a secure garden and exit management. He needs an active lifestyle which is centered around his needs. Spencer shouldn't live with very young children, more for his sake as he isn't one for being pulled around, although when treated with respect he is fine. May settle with a fluent other dog providing his owners have managed 2 dogs before.

His Story: Spencer was found stray many times and each time reclaimed but his last stay in March 2013 saw him abandoned, with the dog warden relieved that he had a chance now to find a responsible family. Spencer is now neutered, vaccinated and chipped. Spencer is currently in boarding kennels near Gatwick, West Sussex.
Advert: Spencer is a great Staffie who loves to meet and greet without being too licky or leapy. He is young and requires an active lifestyle and to be inclusive. Spencer has so much to offer as an integral family member. Spencer meets dogs well, likes to walk alongside them and gives overtures to play but needs to be introduced gradually so Spencer builds trust before play. Spencer travels well in the car and is curious and interested in his surroundings.
Spencer is a white freckled Staffie with a brindle patch over his left eye. He is about 2 years young. He has a beautiful head on him and a delightfully friendly nature. He sees friendship as his task in life. He may come off lead but with an aware handler as he can be inclined to follow his nose and might not handle an obnoxious other dog well. He explores on the extender lead to its fullest and on the whole is very connected to his walker. Spencer would love to use his intelligence and would enjoy the sense of being a treasured pet and oh how he deserves this!
Please note that this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found.
