Olive has been spinning but she gets daily mental and physical exercise. Olive is also in good health.

Doris has had loose stools today and was sick last night is this right?

When did you first observe this spinning? Has it increased or decreased in regularity since you've had her or since she's had pups, and have you noticed any triggers, such as excitement, boredom, stress, hunger, tiredness? Does it ever happen on walks and while you're playing with her, or only at home when nothing much is happening?

Just after the pups were born but i put it down to pain. She spins straight after a walk and also before a walk but she also has her tail down between her legs. Could she anxious for leaving them?

As I've said elsewhere, I'm not an expert. I know dogs can spin because of OCD but not how to distinguish it from other causes. It might be an idea to video it and show your vet.

But I also wonder if she might have some discomfort/itching in her rear end, which might explain the tail going between her legs.

Okay i will show a video. The rash is still there also... could this be causing it?

Did she suggest any treatment, such as antihistamines? You could also try wiping the area after every walk with some lukewarm water with a couple of drops of lavender oil in it.
